Intro
The popularity of cryptocurrencies soared in 2021 with a significant increase in attendance.
These crypto events planned in 2022 are a great place to meet with fellow crypto enthusiasts and learn more about crypto from some of the brightest minds in the space.
Crypto Events in 2022
ETHDenver

February 11–20
Denver, U.S
This longest-running ETH event is member-owned and the first event-based DAO.
Applications are currently open for the event, hosted as an in-person event. Still, it will also be live-streamed and is free to attend.
There will be two BUIDLathons—one in-person software building competition and a virtual competition. In addition, the event aims to function as an incubator and launchpad to create year-round funding for projects.
World Blockchain Summit

March 23–24
Dubai, UAE
Featuring some of the top crypto and blockchain influencers - Changpeng Zhao, VC Tim Draper, and Don Tapscott - The World Blockchain Summit has chosen Dubai as its destination due to the city's welcoming of crypto and the government's efforts to promote blockchain adoption.
This year, the event's focus will be on NFT, the Metaverse, and Web 3.0 ecosystems.
Bitcoin 2022

April 6–9
Miami, U.S.
This largest Bitcoin crypto event features the top speakers, sponsors, and guest list Bitcoin Magazine hosts.
This event can cost you $99 and upwards of $13,999.
Bitcoin 2021 featured speakers like Jack Dorsey, computer scientist Nick Szabo, MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor, and U.S. Senator (R-WY) Cynthia Lummis.

Blockchain Life 2022

Blockchain Life is one of the biggest events in the blockchain industry. Discussing the most relevant industry topics: how to make money on cryptocurrencies in 2022, the development of DeFi, the regulation of cryptocurrencies in Russia, the features of effective mining, and much more.
The forum will traditionally include the international Blockchain Life Awards and the Startup Pitch competition for promising startups.
Consensus

Since 2015, industry experts have come together at Consensus to discuss blockchain, crypto, NFT, and Web 3 ecosystems.
They feature parties, music performances, dinners, and experiences, in addition to the regular meetings (for $799).

Besides networking, this event offers one-on-one meetings, brand exposure, and lead generations to its attendees. Unlike other events, it also brings executives from big brands such as BBVA, Pfizer, General Electric, Shell, Nestle, Coca-Cola, BP, Boston Consulting Group to talk about the emerging technology.
Blockchain Economy Summit

In 2018, the Dubai government launched this annual conference to bring together thought leaders, startups, and investors into one space to help promote the city as a crypto hub.
UAE's crypto-friendly regulations make sense that these events are hosted in the capital city.
